Landscapes

When I began my art career, oil was the first medium I picked up, and it has my heart. I love to use rich, unexpected colors, and create texture in my landscapes.

My landscapes are inspired by the places I have visited and lived, first with the Roanoke and Shenandoah Valleys in Virginia, then the marshes and inlets of coastal Virginia, and now the beautiful hill country of Texas. I want my paintings to not simply depict a place, but encapsulate how it feels to be there. When you look upon my painting in your home, you'll be reminded not only of what you saw, but also what you experienced.
